With the opening of the Lern- und Erinnerungsort Notaufnahmelager Gießen in July 2025, a key site of German post-war history has been made newly accessible to the public.
Our VIA induction handsets are used throughout the exhibition. They provide visitors with hearing aids and telecoils with clear, interference-free audio transmission directly at the media stations. Featuring automatic start/stop functionality, a robust design, and a reliable magnetic docking system, the handsets are designed for continuous use in museums and memorial sites. Their understated design integrates seamlessly into the exhibition’s overall aesthetic.
The project serves as an exemplary demonstration of how thoughtfully designed media technology can put inclusion into practice and make remembrance culture accessible to all.
