The Aurignac Gallery is the interpretation center of the famous Chauvet Cave in the Ardèche. The center is designed as an interactive museum that takes visitors on a journey back in time to a key period in human history: the first European civilization of Homo sapiens.
The first forms of painting, sculpture, jewelry and music were created here 40,000 years ago. Our USO handsets have been an integral part of the exhibition for over ten years – almost a piece of history themselves.
