Our LEANDER guidance system is in use at the Fürst-Pückler-Museum in Schloss Branitz in Cottbus. Housed within the historic walls that were once home of Hermann Fürst von Pückler-Muskau (1785–1871) — a successful writer, traveller to the Orient and dandy — the museum celebrates the legacy of this flamboyant garden designer and bestselling author of ‘Letters of a Dead Man’. With his parks in Muskau and Branitz, Pückler shaped 19th-century German landscape garden design. His former manor house in Branitz preserves his memory as Cottbus’s first honorary citizen and the creator of one of Europe’s most significant landscape gardens.

LEANDER ensures a respectful distance from the opulent interiors and valuable exhibits. The system’s stylish graphic elements provide clear visitor guidance while delivering fascinating information to accompany guests through the exhibition. This turns the tour of Fürst Pückler’s world into an enriching experience, from the initial encounter with his travelogues to the moment of departure from this unique place.

The system combines functional guidance with an aesthetic that blends seamlessly into the historic setting. Thanks to its understated design, it harmoniously integrates into the exhibition architecture, thereby helping to convey Pückler’s multifaceted legacy as a landscape architect, travel writer and social figure.
